About the Role
SimpleMotion has an exciting opportunity for an eager candidate who possesses a deep passion for technology and drive to learn and enhance SimpleMotion Systems to join our team as Automation Technician.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in automation, electronics and/or mechanics.
Industry experience in automation, electronics or the Performing Arts technical production industry would be a great asset.
Your responsibilities will encompass preparing, wiring, and building framework for specific projects, assist when required in the workshop; reporting to the Head of Production and Implementation and assisting the Control Team where required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in commissioning, testing and/or maintaining motors, variable speed drives and related technologies of SimpleMotion Projects.
Aid the electrical, mechanical and software commissioning process
Assist in writing commissioning manuals and develop commissioning checklists
Assist in installing and programming automation control systems in venues both locally and internationally.
Requirements
