Client: Definition Films Venue: Definition Sound Studios Definition Films is a post production studio located at the Fox Studios Complex in Sydney. They specialise in film, television and sound post production as well as theatre screenings, IMAX post production and DCP creation. In order to upgrade their facility to a Dolby Atmos approved studio, Definition Films contracted SimpleMotion to design and install a structural frame work to accommodate the vast number of speakers required to be Dolby Atmos certified.

Client: Gfinity ESports Australia Venue: Fox Studios With the explosion in the popularity of Electronic Sports (ESports) SimpleMotion designed, engineered and manufactured the staging for the inaugural televised season of Gfinity Australia's ESports competition at the EQ in Sydney in 2018.

Client: Newtheatricals Designer: Klara Zieglerova Venues: Australian Tour Simplicity, SimpleMotion’s theatrical control system was implemented to control the motion on stage. This included 2 traditional cross stage floor tracks, counterweight assisted hoists and a 2 axis, radio-controlled band truck all of which were used extensively throughout the performance. A wireless link using the Beckhoff safety protocol EAP was used to provide an intrinsically safe estop signal to the band truck. All of this was operated via a SimpleConsole using the Simplicity software suite.

Client: Sydney Theatre Company and Global Creatures Designer: Gabriela Tylesova Venue: Ros Packer Theatre, and Australian Tour A new Australian musical that had the critics raving during a sold out premier season, SimpleMotion is proud to support local Australians doing excellent work! SimpleMotion built and automated the revolve, two floor tracks and six portals that were integral to this intricate scenic design.

Client: Cirque Du Soleil Venue/s: Hangzhou, China Cirque are one of the world’s leading producers of immersive theatre. SimpleMotion put a team of technicians and fabricators on the ground in China to implement the performance automation effects central to the delivery of the ambitious creative. SimpleMotion also provided a specialist team of acrobatic riggers who supported the final stages of the creative process. Both teams were involved in the rehearsal process through to the World Premiere, ensuring that the systems were implemented safely, on time, and to Cirque’s high creative and technical standards.
