Working closely Peter Stutchbury Architecture, SimpleMotion designed, engineered and installed a retractable roof window to allow light to enter the centre of the house as well as roof access to take in the stunning beach setting.
The clients brief was to create a completely manual operating device that would also be a design feature of the house. SimpleMotion used a system of linear rails and counter balance weights for ease of operation and low maintenance.
